Though wise, they did not rely upon their own wisdom to lead them to Christ.
They persisted until they found Jesus.
When they found Jesus, they worshipped Him.
These wise men gave gifts.

Hebrews 11:6
It is important for us to make sure we are diligently seeking God.
In the original Greek, “diligently seeking” was one word.
Looking at other uses of the same word:
- Genesis 9:5?- “demand” or “require” is the same in Greek translation of the Old Testament
- Exodus 18:15?- “inquire”
- Deuteronomy 29: ?
- Psalms 119:145,155?- “keep” and “seek”
- Amos 5:5?- “seek”
- Luke 11:47-51?- “required”
- Acts 15:15-20?- “seek”
- Romans 3:10-12?- “seeks”
- Hebrews 12:14-17?- “sought it diligently”
- I Peter 1:10-12?- “inquired and searched carefully”
Can we say that we diligently seek God?
