- “Another” – of a different sort
- “Know” – to have regard for, appreciate
- Exodus 1:8; I Samuel 2:12
- Proper teaching
- Bible based – II Timothy 3:16; Ecclesiastes 12:11-12
- Do not withhold proper teaching from your children.? Bible teaching is absolutely essential.
- Home based – Deuteronomy 6:4-9
- Have God’s word readily available in the home.
- Start young – II Timothy 2:15
- Balanced – II Timothy 4:2; Titus 2:15
- Praise, rebuke, instruct, exhort, correct.
- Repeat, repeat, repeat – II Peter 1:12-13
- This puts the word of God in your memory.
- Bible classes – Do the best job you can.
- Good examples – Philippians 2:14-16; Philippians 3:17; Philippians 1:27; II Samuel 12:14; Romans 2:17-24
- The coming generation is watching and taking in everything we say and do.
- Respectful treatment
- Encourage and respect honest doubt and questions.? Acts 17:11; John 20:24-28
- We’re taught to question what we’re taught and to compare it against the Bible.? Encourage this in those who are young (in age and faith).

- True conversion
- Conversion and loyalty to Christ, not “the church”.? Acts 16:15; Galatians 4:19
- We need fewer “church of Christ-ers” and more Christians.

- These things will not guarantee success but will make it more likely.
