Attitudes toward sin
- What is sin?
  - Commission (I John 3:4)
  - Omission (James 4:14)
  - All unrighteousness
- The terribleness of sin:
  - Can by seen by the effects of it.
    - Physical sickness and death.
    - Eternal punishment.
  - Can be seen by the sacrifice required for it.
Wrong attitudes toward sin
- Love of sin (Micah 3:1-2)
- Approval of sin
- Condemn certain sins and approve others (Matthew 26:15; 27:4-8)
- Indifference toward sin
Right attitudes toward sin
- Hate sin
- Have godly sorrow for sin
- Seek forgiveness of sins
  - For self (Proverbs 28:19)
  - For others
