  • Luke 16:22-23?- material things do not equal salvation
  • Deuteronomy 6:10-12?- don’t forget God when things are good
  • Luke 9:58?- Jesus lived a very moderate life
  • Luke 12:13-21?- the rich fool
  • Luke 17:7-10?- We shouldn’t feel entitled to some huge reward for doing what God commands.
