• Romans 1:20-21?- The entire creation cries out that there is a creator.? Those who refuse to see it are without excuse.
• Romans 1:27-28?- Homosexuality has never been tolerated by God.? See Leviticus 20:13.? Under the Old Covenant, the penalty was death.? That penalty no longer stands, but God still doesn’t tolerate the sin.

Ripsaw

I just saw this article on DoD Buzz about a new armed, unmanned vehicle called the Ripsaw.? It looks pretty impressive, especially for how little they spent to arm it and make it remotely operated.? A small fleet of these coming at you would be pretty scary.? There’s a little promotional video of the manned version on Youtube:

Survivor: Benchley 2008 DVD is done!

At long last, I am happy to announce that the Survivor: Benchley 2008 DVD is done!? Sadly, Lesli and I will not have time to through our usual debut viewing party before many of the students leave for the holidays, so Kristie has kindly agreed to allow a sneak preview viewing at her party on Saturday.? If you will be gone before then, but would like a copy, let me know and I will get it to you.? As usual, copies are $5 each to cover my cost in materials.? This is by far the biggest DVD I have made to date.? It includes all events, three special features (including a gag reel), and some hidden easter eggs for the eagle-eyed observers out there.? Please let me know if you want a copy so I have an idea of how many to make. I have included a little sneak peak of the gag reel below, although I recommend that you not watch it on a full stomach.

• Acts 10:1-8,15,24-27,44-48?- The story of Cornelius.
  • We ought to care for others’ souls (Acts 10:24).? Cornelius called together others to hear Peter’s message.
    • Peter cared for Cornelius (Acts 10:27).? The vision helped Peter know he should go to Cornelius but it was against his culture.
    • Acts 11:1-14?- Peter had to defend his actions.? Acts 11:18?- it was accepted.
      • Racism has no part in a Christian’s life.? Romans 3:29; 10:12; I Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:28; 5:6; Ephesians 3:6
  • Now everyone needs the gospel.? Acts 13:46; Romans 2:11; Matthew 28:19
    • The old law was set in place to prepare for (look forward to) the new law that is for all men.
    • Even though Cornelius was a good man, he still has to follow the steps of salvation in order to be saved (Acts 10:2).
      • Despite how good people may be we have the obligation to find out God’s will and obey it!
      • Hebrews 10:26?- If we reject Jesus’ sacrifice and the plan?God put in place for our salvation, there’s nothing else out there for us.
  • We should obey.? Acts 10:47,48; 11
    • At the point of the angel visit or the point of receiving spiritual gifts they still weren’t saved.
