- Acts 10:1-8,15,24-27,44-48?- The story of Cornelius.
- We ought to care for others’ souls (Acts 10:24).? Cornelius called together others to hear Peter’s message.
- Peter cared for Cornelius (Acts 10:27).? The vision helped Peter know he should go to Cornelius but it was against his culture.
- Acts 11:1-14?- Peter had to defend his actions.? Acts 11:18?- it was accepted.
- Racism has no part in a Christian’s life.? Romans 3:29; 10:12; I Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:28; 5:6; Ephesians 3:6
- Now everyone needs the gospel.? Acts 13:46; Romans 2:11; Matthew 28:19
- The old law was set in place to prepare for (look forward to) the new law that is for all men.
- Even though Cornelius was a good man, he still has to follow the steps of salvation in order to be saved (Acts 10:2).
- Despite how good people may be we have the obligation to find out God’s will and obey it!
- Hebrews 10:26?- If we reject Jesus’ sacrifice and the plan?God put in place for our salvation, there’s nothing else out there for us.
- We should obey.? Acts 10:47,48; 11
- At the point of the angel visit or the point of receiving spiritual gifts they still weren’t saved.
- We ought to care for others’ souls (Acts 10:24).? Cornelius called together others to hear Peter’s message.
