• Our Father
  • Matthew 5:45?- God controls it all
• “Your will be done”
  • Matthew 16:18-19?- Kingdom and church are interchangeable.
  • At the time of this prayer, the church has not yet come.? That happened in Acts 2, so it is incorrect to now pray for the kingdom to come.
  • Psalms 103:19-20?- The angels obey in heaven.? Jesus prays that men will obey the same way on earth.
  • John 4:42; John 1:45?- the power of invitations to hear the gospel.
• “Give us this day our daily bread.”
  • Wealth is not the priority.
  • II Timothy 6:6-11?- the dangers of wealth
• “Deliver us from evil”
  • James 4:7?- resist the devil
  • Romans 7:7?- we must first know what sin is
  • I Corinthians 10:13-14?- once you know what’s right, do it!
